I guess I better start blogging again

     Hi. I don't know how you found my blog but here it is. I had a long long long-running one that I deleted when I divorced. I just started this new one. I am currently writing a story about a girl and some aliens. It's fun and weird. So I broke my ankle on July 30. I have been home on medical leave since then. I just requested to return back to work on November 18th. Then a coworker texted me to say we are all being laid off. 

    Why is life so mean? I was so excited to go back to work. I miss people. I REALLY missed walking. I have been walking with no mobility aids for a few weeks now. My right ankle has three screws and hates me but it does work properly. It hurts most nights. That is just my normal now. Ice or heat helps. 

    I was working as a phlebotomist and I loved my job. I really hope I can apply for the same position in a nearby city or something. I enjoyed talking to people every day. I was getting so good at venipuncture. I have been home now for three months and I am completely bored. I want to go back to work! ugh!

Job interviews

       It is said that job interviewing is a skill. Is it a skill that the more you do it the better you get at it? Am I the only one who gets very anxious when heading into one? I had 4 since the last time I blogged. Then I went to youtube and searched for job interviews and now I am completely sure I am terrible at job interviews.     I am also sure it is just my anxiety making me feel that way. Two of these interviews were on the phone and two were in person. I think I prefer the in-person version just because I can see who I am talking to and look them in the eye. Eye contact is important, right?? I think so.      No news on the job front. I am laid off from my current role on November 25th, 2022. I continue to apply for jobs and head to interviews.      I am super sad that I am losing my current job because it was the first job I've ever really liked. Hopefully, this will lead to bigger and better things.
